Your vacation begins with an evening pre-trip meeting the night before your launch. This meeting provides an opportunity to meet the rest of your group and your river guide and discuss the details of your trip.

There’s no shortage of thrill-seeking for those looking for big powerful white water with some of Idaho’s most famous rapids like Demons Drop, Snow Hole, Bodacious Bounce and Half n Half to name a few. Everyone can jump in an inflatable kayak if you want a bigger challenge. In mild sections of this pool and drop river there is time for trying stand-up paddle boarding or fishing for Small Mouth Bass.
The Lower Gorge Salmon River raft trip terminates in Hells Canyon at the spectacular confluence with the Snake River and the deepest canyon in N. America. The geological diversity will amaze as you pass through spectacular landscapes, steep granite walls, and metamorphosed volcanic gorges with columnar basalt formations.
The next morning, you’re shuttled to Hammer Creek, where your group will launch. Throughout the next several days, you enjoy luxury beach camping, unforgettable beaches, gourmet meals, and a variety of Idaho wildlife.

Launch Details
Launch dates will vary depending on the package you choose. Booking is available from late-June through August. After a confirmed booking, a separate email with packing recommendations and additional details will be provided to prepare you for an exceptional vacation.
